How To Cook Frozen Lobster Tails The Right Way?

Step 1: Boil the frozen lobster for 10 minutes

If you find yourself with a frozen lobster, don’t stress! Boiling a frozen lobster is actually pretty simple and only requires a few extra minutes of cook time. Here’s what you need to do:

First, make sure that you have a large pot that can accommodate the lobster. Fill the pot with enough water to cover the lobster completely, then add a tablespoon of salt for each quart of water. Bring the water to a boil, then carefully lower the frozen lobster. Cook for 3-5 minutes longer than you would cook a fresh lobster. That’s it! Your lobster is now ready to eat.

Step 2: Grill your lobster to perfection for a smokey flavor

Many people are intimidated by the prospect of grilling a lobster, but it’s actually relatively easy. Start by preheating your grill to medium-high heat. Then, use a sharp knife to cut the lobster in half lengthwise. Next, season the lobster with some olive oil, salt, and pepper. Be sure to get the seasonings inside the lobster’s shell.

Once your grill is hot, place the lobster halves shell-side down on the grate. Close the lid of the grill and cook for about eight minutes. After eight minutes, flip the lobster over and cook for another two to three minutes, or until the meat is cooked through. Remove from grill and relish!

Step 3: Bake your lobster in the oven (alternate to grilling)

Before you cook your lobster, preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, put the lobster on a baking sheet lined with some aluminum foil. After that, place the lobster onto the baking sheet, making sure that the lobster is lying on its back. Once the lobster is in the oven, bake it for about 12-15 minutes. When the lobster is done cooking, remove it from the oven.

How To Thaw Frozen Lobster Tails In The Fridge Overnight?

One of the best ways to thaw a lobster is in the fridge overnight. Simply place the frozen lobster in the fridge, making sure it is wrapped securely in plastic wrap or placed in a covered container.

The next day, the lobster will be thawed and ready to cook. This method is safe and effective, and it minimizes the risk of bacterial growth.

Additionally, it is essential to cook the lobster as soon as it is thawed to prevent food poisoning. When cooked properly, a delicious and nutritious meal awaits.

I personally like to remove the lobster from its packaging and rinse it off under cold water. Then, I place it on a plate or cutting board and put it in the fridge.

The next morning, I check on the lobster to make sure that it is thawed all the way through. If not, I give it a few more hours in the fridge.
