Nothing can match the crispy, golden goodness of Eggo Homestyle waffles. These waffles are perfect straight out of the toaster, and they’re also great with a bit of butter and syrup.
Eggo waffles have been my favorite since I was a kid, and they’re still my go-to frozen waffle today. There’s just something about that crispy, flaky texture that I can’t resist.
And, of course, the cracking sound they make when you bite into them is music to my ears. So if you’re looking for the perfect frozen waffle, look no further than Eggo Homestyle waffles.
The Best #2: Kashi 7-Grain Waffles
To be honest, the Kashi 7-Grain Waffles taste better than Eggo’s Homestyle waffles. These waffles are made with a blend of seven whole grains, including oats, hard red wheat, rye, brown rice, triticale, barley, and buckwheat.
The result is a deliciously crispy waffle with a subtle sweetness that doesn’t require any toppings. I also love the fact that Kashi’s waffles are healthy and nutritious. So if you’re looking for a healthier option, Kashi’s waffles are the way to go.
The Best #03: Kodiak Cakes Power Waffles
I still remember how Kodiak Cakes’ protein-packed power waffles impressed me when I first tasted them. These waffles are soft and fluffy, with a vanilla-forward flavor that makes them taste more like cake than breakfast.
They’re also packed with protein, which makes them an excellent option for kids or anyone looking for a nutritious breakfast. And, since they don’t need to be cooked at a high temperature, they’re perfect for people who are sensitive to heat.

#04: Annie’s Organic Homestyle Waffles
You can always trust Annie’s organic products, and their home-style waffles are no different. These waffles use 100 percent whole wheat flour and don’t have any artificial flavors or preservatives.

Maybe you are gluten-free, or you know someone who is. In that case, you’ll be happy to know that Nature’s Path makes delicious gluten-free waffles.
These waffles are made with brown rice flour and tapioca starch, and they’re free of artificial flavors and preservatives. They’re also non-GMO and certified organic. And they taste great!
For a scrumptious and healthy gluten-free waffle, you can’t go wrong with Nature’s Path organic waffles.
#06: Van’s Power Grains Original Waffles
The best thing about Van’s power grains waffles is that they are very filling. These waffles are made with steel-cut oats, brown rice, millet, and cracked red wheat.
They’re also packed with protein and fiber, which makes them a great option for breakfast or a snack. And, like all of Van’s products, they’re free of artificial flavors and preservatives.
The only thing I don’t like about Van’s waffles is that they’re a bit too sweet for my taste. But, if you have a sweet tooth, you’ll probably love them.
#07: Trader Joe’s Multi-Grain Toaster Waffles
These waffles from Trader Joe’s are also excellent. They are made with whole wheat flour, oats, cornmeal, and flaxseed.
They’re a bit sweeter than some of the other waffles on this list, but they’re still delicious. And, like all of Trader Joe’s products, they’re affordable and easy to find.
If you’re looking for a delicious and affordable frozen waffle, Trader Joe’s is the way to go.
#08: Good & Gather Buttermilk Waffles
Luckily, trying Good & Gather’s buttermilk waffles was a pleasant surprise. I was expecting them to be dry and bland, but they were actually quite moist and flavorful.
They’re also reasonably priced and easy to find, which is always a plus. But yeah, their bland taste might not be for everyone.
I wouldn’t recommend you this, but you can try it if you want.
#09: Great Value Buttermilk Waffles
I was really disappointed with Great Value’s buttermilk waffles. They had poor taste and texture, and they were tough and difficult to cut.
I could also taste a hint of artificial flavoring, which I didn’t like. And, at just eight waffles per package, they’re not a great value.
I would not recommend Great Value’s buttermilk waffles. There are better options out there.
#10: Nature’s Promise Organic Blueberry Waffles
I am really not buying Nature’s Promise organic blueberry waffles again.
I was hoping that they would be full of flavor, but they were actually quite bland. And while they’re organic and non-GMO, they’re also quite expensive.
The texture was chewy and dense, with an unpleasant flavor that lingered long after we finished eating. I wouldn’t buy these waffles again.
